Chapter 3

Joni lye on his bed, thinking why did he hurt her feelings? He could have just been a little easier on her. He will probably soon regret what he had said. The next day, Joni went down for breakfast to see that Pat (Patida) wasn’t there at the breakfast table. She always likes to eat and not seeing her for breakfast was kind of a shock to him. Da asked, "Hey Joni! Have you seen Pat? She didn’t came back in her room last night." "No! Did you?" he asked back. "Me either! That’s why I asked you," Da replied. "Look you guys she probably is with me that’s why!" Anan said coming out from no where. "Anan! How did you get here? You’re suppose to
be staying with dad!" Joni yelled. " Shut up! I could do what ever I want! (Turning to Da and Nou) Oh yeah! I saw your friend Pat here lost in the city so I decided to help her. I asked her name and she told me. Then I asked her who’s she staying with and she said you. So I just brought her back home." "Uh! Good thing you found her! We were just about to go out and look for her!" Nou exclaimed. "Hey Anan, in thanks of you helping me… I wanna let you stay with us for dinner. How about it?" Pat asked. " Well… Alright!" Anan answered.

When it was time for dinner everyone gathered around the table and ate quietly for the whole night. When it was around 10:00 PM, Joni dropped Anan off at his dad’s house. While Joni was driving back he started to see visions like something bad was gonna happen. He stopped his car at a nearby gas station and filled up his tank. After he started to drive again he saw an old wrinkled up lady with a wooden staff in her hand standing in his way. He hit the brakes and rolled down the window of his car to talk to her. "Hey lady! Would you mind?! I’m trying to drive here! Move along now," Joni screamed. The lady didn’t budge one bit. "Hey lady over here!
I’m talking to you! Yeah you! Now move," Joni screamed once more. She started to walk towards him while he was still screaming at her. When she got up to his window, Joni hesitated and looked her into the eyes. She slowly spoke, "Hi! Do you have change? I need it for a phone call," she said. "Oh! Here you go. (Reached inside his pocket and gave her 50 cents) Now do you mind?! I got to go." "Go right along young man."

While Joni was driving away, the old lady watched him drove away. She cried out in tears of blood. Soon she went to where Joni was staying and watched him through his bedroom window. Her bloodshed tears started to come out from her eyes even more as she looks at him playing his flute quietly. "Curse you Joni! You made me like this and I will get revenge from you! How could you do this to me? All those years I waited to see you once more and now I want revenge! Even all that we been through back in our time I still have feelings for you! You ment to make me fall in love with you back then didn’t you?!" the lady screamed all alone. She started to cry once more and just walked away.

The next day, Da woken up to a glorious morning and saw that Pat was sitting in the corner all alone. Da walked up to her and asked, "Is every thing okay? Come-on tell me what’s wrong." " Just leave me alone! I don’t wanna talk right now!" Pat cried out. "Okay, I’ll leave you alone so you can have some time okay." When Da walked downstairs she saw that same old lady that Joni met last night standing on the first steps. "Excuse me maim, who are you here to see?" Da asked politely. When Da was about to ask her again Nou came downstairs chasing after Joni with a stick. "Joni! You come back here!" Nou screamed. When Da looked
back where the lady was standing, the lady had disappeared! Then she heard the doorbell rang and when Da went to get it was Poun. Poun was one of Joni’s friends back in America. "Hello! I’m here to pick up Joni to go somewhere which don’t ask me where it is because I’m not gonna tell anyways," he said. When Poun and Joni left to somewhere Pat was stuck staring out the window and watching Joni drive slowly away. "Hey Joni, who was that girl at the window staring at you leaving? I just wanna know because she hella fine! Dude you never told me that you had a new girlfriend." "It’s a long story… And she’s not my girlfriend!" "Yeah right! I could tell that you like her foo!" "Whatever let’s just forget about her okay."

They had finally arrived where they went to. They were at some club or something. During they were at that club Joni saw James there. Joni walked up to James and said, "Hey James wassup! What you doing here?" "Oh Joni! Well I just came out with my friends and Louis for a party." When Joni heard the name Louis, he got all piss and shit. "You having fun here?" Joni asked. "Nope!" said James. When they were talking Dome was at the party with Louis and they started to walk up to James and Joni. "Hey Joni wassup! What the hell you’re doing here? Don’t you already have a beautiful girl waiting for you at home?" Dome asked sarcastically. "Yeah why won’t you just go home or something?!" Louis said angerly. Poun saw that Joni and them were arguing so he decided to help Joni. But when he was about to get there he saw the old lady that Joni saw! Okay you are probably wondering why, how come the old lady keep appearing now and then??? Well! You are just gonna have to read to find out… Anyways along with the story…

Poun was talking with her for a while… She told him something that he shouldn’t have known. But she told him to not blab it out to anybody or else he dies. So he kept it a secret. After they were finished talking, Poun went to help Joni. The argument between Louis and Joni was meaningless! So Poun took Joni home. Poun just drove away thinking about what the lady had said to him. Joni just went inside to find that Da and Pat were in the guestroom. When he came in and said hi to them and turned back to get something they were gone. "Where the heck they went to now?" Joni said curiously. When he went to check on Da and Pat they were sound asleep. He saw that Da was just a little awake and he asked her was she and Pat ever downstairs? And she said no. He thought to himself that maybe it was just a elosion. Pat heard her bedroom door was closed and she woke up. She started to go to Joni room with a knife in her hand and tears rolling down from her cheeks.

Joni was about to go to sleep when "BANG!" he heard the door shut loud and inside his room was Pat with a knife in her hand. "Huy! What the hell are you trying to do?! Kill me or something! Fuck someone help here! I think Pat is going crazy!" Joni screamed in fear. Pat didn’t even noticed what she was doing at all! Nou rushed inside and grabbed the knife from her while Da holded her back. Nou slapped her three times on the face and she finally noticed. "What I’m doing in Joni’s room?" Pat asked. "You were sleep waking and about to kill Joni!" Da yelled. "Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to!" Pat apologized. "No! I should be the one who’s sorry. Oh yeah I got to talk to you privately… Do you guys mind?" Joni said. Da and Nou quietly went out. "Anyways, I just wanted
to say sorry for what I said to you. I could have been easier on you." "No, it’s okay now because you didn’t mean to be that mean to me. Okay look I got to get some sleep and I promise I won’t attack you anymore so goodnight." After their little talk Joni felt way much better than before. But there was something wrong. The same thing he felt from her he had felt it somewhere else too, but he just don’t know where.

When daylight hit, Pat came out of her bedroom very cheerfully. Joni smiled at Pat while he was coming down for breakfast and she smiled back. Da saw that they were getting along and started to feel relieved about what happened last night. When they were eating the doorbell rang and it was Dome. "Sup! I was just passing by your neighborhood so I decided to stop for a quick break." Joni who answered the door slammed the door back in Dome’s face. Joni knew that he just came to mack on Pat and her friends. So Dome just went back to where ever he came from. "Hey Pat! How about me and you go out shopping today? I mean you haven’t been out much," Joni asked. "Okay I’ll get ready! What time we’re going?" "Umm… How about now?!" " Okay just wait I’ll go put on something." While waiting Joni saw something that was on the floor that he never seen before. It was a sign of some sort. He picked it up so he could get a good look at it. The little tiny sign had said, "Beware! For the person you don’t wanna hurt could hurt you!" He thought it was some kind of a sick joke, so he threw it away. When Pat was ready he took her out. They were at the mall having a nice meal and Pat needed to go to the bathroom so he led her there. But she never came out! He got tired of waiting so he just went in to check on her. But she wasn’t there. He started to panic. Then he heard a sound coming from one of the toilet
rooms and saw her sitting at the corner all frighten. He asked, "Is every thing okay?" He looked closely what was wrong with her and saw that her shirt was torn off from the front. "Did someone rape you?!" he asked angrly. "Yes! I was minding own business when some guy just popped out of no where and raped me!" She started to cry while Joni comfort her. She didn’t wanna go anymore so he took her home… Okay stay tuned till my next chapter of "A Sin of Loving You"….. And you’ll find out what new and exciting things will happen next!
