Scene 1

[Note: This is a sequel to Falling Rain]

Joni stared at the small apartment that stood before him. His girlfriend,
Marisa, smiled and handed him the newspaper. "Yup, this is the one." she said. Joni shook his head.
"I don't like it." he replied. "Is there another one we can look at?" Marisa shook her head.
"Joni, is it that you don't want to move in with me? Is that why you're making this apartment hunting thing so difficult?" Marisa asked sadly.
"It's not that. I just want the perfect one for us, you know?" "Are you sure?" Joni nodded. "Good, i didn't want to to say that you didn't want to move in with me because you feel guilty." "For what?" Joni asked as she
looked at the newspaper.
"You know, because of your girlfriend who passed away."
"Why would you think that?" Joni asked, trying hard not to look up at her in the eye.
"I know it was silly to think that. Anyways, it's been 4 years already,
right?" Marisa replied. Joni nodded. "I was thinking, did you get to see her one last time?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean was it a closed coffin or open?" Marisa asked curiously. "It was a closed coffin. No one got to see her one last time." Joni answered. He sighed and looked up at Marisa. "It was the past, come on. Let's go inside
and check this apartment out. I think this might be the one." Marisa forced a smile and reached for Joni's hand, following him up the stairs and into the open apartment. Marisa grunted as she saw the living room.
"This is so small." Marisa commented. She released Joni's hand and walked over to the window.
"Not a nice view. And look! This paint is peeling!" Joni forced a smile and walked over to her.
"So it's not the one." Joni said. "It's ok. We'll keep looking." Marisa grunted again and stared at him.
"I just want to move in with you as soon as possible."
"Me too, but we have to wait." Joni said as he stared out the window.

Scene 2

Taya awoke to sound of Louis' voice. He was downstairs talking on the phone.
Taya quietly made her way downstairs, finding Louis on the sofa. When Louis
saw her he smiled and signaled for her to come over to him. Taya smiled and
walked over to him, seating herself on his lap. "Alright." Louis said into
the phone. "Good-bye." Louis hung up th phone and hugged Taya. "What are you doing up?"
"I heard you talking." Taya replied as she leaned down to kiss him. Louis
held her waist as they shared a kiss. Taya smiled and stood up. "Who was
that on the phone, anyways?" she asked. Louis scratched his head and yawned.
"My mom. She wanted to wish you a Happy 19th birthday, but i didn't want to wake you." Louis answered.
"That's nice."
"Then she went on talking about all this stuff that's happening in Thailand."
"Well, we're going to go back to Thailand soon." Taya said. "I need to go for a photo shoot."
"Alright. We'll talk about that later. Let's go to bed." Louisa suggested.
Taya nodded.
"Catch me if you can!" she yelled as she ran up the stairs. Louis laughed and ran after her.

Scene 3

Ms. Lily Vanida held her daughter's hand, hoping for Florence to come out of
her coma. Lily forced a smile and leaned over to kiss Florence on her forehead. "Be right back hun." She said as she walked out to the waiting room. JR was asleep and his grandmother, Sharon, was reading the newspaper by his side.
"Did the doctor say there was any change" Sharon asked, folding up her newspaper and placing it to the side.
"They said they're still not sure if she will regain cautioness."
"Lily, have you thought about the concequences if she wakes?" Sharon asked her daughter. Lily forced a smile.
"Then my Florence will be back at home."
"Oh no, not those happy ones. I'm talking about when Joni or Taya sees her." Sharon said, worriedly.
"They'll be as thrilled as i am too."
"Oh come on! They think the poor girl is dead."
"They'll be happy. Mom, we fibbed. They needed to get on with their lives.
The doctor said it was best. Don't need to worry now." Lily replied as she brushed her son's hair from his eyes. JR awoke from his mother's touch.
"Mom." JR whispered, sounding all groggy and tired. Lily smiled and reached for his hand. "Any change?" Lily shook her head.
"I'm sorry darling." She said. "I know how much you want to go back to Thailand."
"No, England's great." JR replied dumbfouned. Lily laughed.
"Right." Sharon said as she opened up her newspaper again and started reading.
"You know what, go ahead inside and spend some time with Florence. I'll go get us some drinks. I'll meet you in there." Lily suggested. JR nodded and tiredly walked into his sister's hospital room.
"Mom, do you want anything?" Lily asked. Sharon shook her head. "Are you
going to stay out here?" Sharon nodded. Lily forced a smile and walked into the lounge where Dr. Martin was. Dr. Martin smiled as he saw Lily. "Dr. Martin, how are you?"
"Ms. Vanida, I am great. I have some news for you."
"Really? Good?" Dr. Martin nodded as Lily pulled a chair and sat down.
"Alright, don't keep it from me any longer."
"It seems that your daughter will recover in the mean time. She will be
awake in about 2 months and of course you will be dealing with a lot of
catching up to do, but no signs of amnesia." Dr. Martin explained.
"Thank god!" Lily exclaimed as she leaned over, hugging Dr. Martin.
"Ms. Vanida, i ask one thing from you."
"What?"
"Don't tell Florence that she has a tombstone and don't expose her to any of
her friends. I just ask for you to fib to her about all the people that she
is missing in her life at this point. I don't want to cause any more damage to your daughter."
"Mr. Martin, what if she is expose to them?"
"I suggest you get rid of her grave and the empty coffin, so Miss Favire will not get angry and i suggest you make something up to her until she is fully recovered." Lily nodded.
"Thank you so much sir." Lily said as she stood up. "I have to get some drinks and tell my family the good news!" Dr. Martin nodded.

Scene 4

a month and a half later...
Florence sat up in the hospital bed, as her mother went on about how much
she was missed. Florence forced a smile as she listened. Lily stopped,
watching Florence's attention leave her. "Is something the matteR?" Lily asked.
"Nothing, mom." Florence answered. Lily smiled and leaned over to hug her.
"Alright, i'm going to get you something to eat. I'll be back." Lily said as
she stood up and walked out the door. She sighed, leaning against the door.
She spotted Dr. Martin scribbling in the lounge. Lily stomped into the lounge. "Dr. Martin!" she shouted.
"Can i help you Ms. Vanida?" he asked as she closed his folder.
"Can you help me?! Yes! Of course! You said that there was no sigh what so ever or amnesia!" Lily shouted angirly.
"I am sorry my prediction was wrong."
