Chapter 2

-- The night was glistening with wind, air fill with whispers. Noon's heels clonked as she made her way quickly pass the stairs and into her room. She stopped in front of her queen size bed, as her sister mentioned
earlier about the Versace dress she'd gotten her for tonight. The box was wrapped neatly, with a V marked and a note from Aum. "Here's to a good night, Love Aum." Noon smiled and made her way through the mirror to
examine her new blue dress. The dress is too beautiful for me, she thought. Besides, who is she going to impress tonight? No one. But after realizing how important this night was for her sister, she wore the
dress and got her hair and make-up done. Once again, she stepped in front of the mirror to look at herself. After taking a few seconds to look at herself, she grabbed her purse, car keys and walked downstairs to see
Matt looking up at her. Matt had been waiting at the front door for a few minutes. His eyes was drawn to Noon's beauty. He'd always knew Noon was beautiful inside and out, but never saw how beautiful and
remarkable as tonight. Thinking she was ready to go out for dinner with him, took out his arms to escort her to his car. "Ready beautiful?" Says
Matt.

Noon had a smirk on her face, than started to giggle. "What are you doing here, Matt?" Asks Noon. Matt's face soon turned to confusion. "What do you mean?" Matt murmured. Noon walked pass him and headed
for the door knob. Matt grabbed the door and looked deep into Noon's eyes. "Where do you think you're going?" Matt shrieked. Noon looked up at Matt and gave a silent pause. "I'm going to a party. Now move out
of my way -- I'm late!" Noon declared. Matt didn't budge from the door.

She stepped back and was getting quite annoyed by his macho-ness. "Matt, didn't I tell you to not call me again? And who do you think you are? You don't own me. Now get out of my way." Noon told him as she open the door. Matt was speechless. He only watched her get in her car and rode off. Angry and upset, he kicked the bush next to the porch. He let his frustration out for a few minutes and took off in his car.

Meanwhile, at the party, Aum was surrounded by many guys wanting to dance with her. Aum excused herself to see her old friend from High School who just arrived. "Hey girl, who did you come here with?" Asks
the girl. "I came here with Jennie, remember Johnny's little sister from school?" Said Aum. The girl shrugs. "So who are you here with, Sindy?" Aum asks. The girl was looking around, as if she was waiting for
someone. "Are you waiting for someone, Sindy?" Aum asked. "Well, sort of. But he doesn't even know I exist." Sindy murmured. Aum looked pass Sindy's shoulders to see Andrew entering the palace, walking up
towards a couple of friends. Andrew was one of the hottest Thai men alive.

He'd been studying in England all his life, now is returning to Thailand to take care of his family estate. Aum couldn't take her eyes off him but was tapped on the shoulder by Sindy. "Aum, I like you to meet my cousin
Don. You remember him from school? He left in his Junior year to study overseas at UCLA in California." Sindy declared. "Nice to meet you." Aum shook the guys' hand. I wonder who he [Andrew] came with, she
thought. "I didn't catch your name." Don asks. "Huh? Are you talking to me?" Aum asks. Sindy knew Don was interested in Aum. But Aum's eyes were drawn to Andrew's way. Andrew, who went to greet old friends was
an eye-catcher amongst the many rich daughters there. "Hey man, what's up?" Andrew asks one of guys'. "Aye man, you see Kade yet? I mean, is he here?" Asks Andrew. "No, I thought he's still in New York City."
One of the guys answered. "Naw, he's been back for weeks now. His father died a couple weeks ago." Andrew grasp. "I hear he's pretty hot with the ladies over there." One of the guys' asked. "[Laughs] Where'd you get that from man?" Andrew shrugs. "C'mon, we all know you and Kade were girl magnets over there. It won't be any different here, my man." The guys started laughing. "Aye, is that him?" One of the guy's asked
Andrew. Andrew looks to the door to see Kade in a white suit, escorted by two ladies , about to slice each other's throat. Alongside, other girls were eyeing him at the same time. Andrew knew that's the thing that
makes the ladies go wow, Kade. "Excuse me ladies, I see some old friends I have to go meet." Kade told the girls. The girls didn't want to let go but couldn't obey him. Kade walked up to Andrew and the rest of
the gang. "Aye man, what's up? When'd you get here Andy?" Kade asked. "Damn, you see what you caused? Look at all those fine ladies eyeing you." Andrew teased. The guys were back like old times. Just like High
School.

It was pass 9 and Aum was getting worried. Where is she, Aum thought. Just before things could get worst, Amy walked in with her one-week boyfriend. Walking pass Aum, Sindy and Don, Amy gave a nasty grin at
Aum and said "Nice dress. Did you get it at the discount store next door?" And took off to meet some rich girls near the snack table. Aum knew there would be problems if Noon was here. Amy went to greet a few girls who were still eyeing Kade and Andrew. "Ahhh... look at you!!"
One of the girls told Amy. "You look great, girlfriend." They told Amy. Amy couldn't stop blushing at all the compliments but was enjoying every minute of it. Amy noticed her girlfriends were looking over at Kade
and Andrew's way. She immediately became interested in Kade. Her eyes couldn't resist the way he looked and smile. She wanted to know him, she wanted to meet him, she wanted him. "Hey, who is that? You girls
know?" Amy asks her friends. "Which one? Kade or Andrew?" Her friend asked. "The one in the white suit." Amy told her. "That's the rich, handsome and charming Kade Tarntup. His father was Mr. Surisuk who
was just deceased, he owns Destiny Hotel, Casino and Resort in Bangkok and Pattaya. He just arrived from NYC a couple weeks ago to take care of his family's business." The girls told Amy. "Didn't you do some
research?" Amy teased. But after hearing more of his background, she couldn't help but want to know him more. She knew he was the one she wanted and she must have.
