Chapter 1


1979 Bangkok, Thailand

In the summer of 1979, Tommy Nula and Amanda Nula created a new company. The company was called, Diamonds of the new Century A/N- A Diamonds company. People were jealous, and have threatened them that the company will fall. The two was not worried. So one day the couple deicide to have a baby, which will take over Diamonds of the new Century, after they have die. A few months later Amanda gave birth to a twin, and name them Melynda (Lynda) and Samantha (Theep). Two months later, Amanda decides not to go to work, instead she stays home and take care of her babies. One afternoon Amanda receives a phone call from the police.
"Hello, this is Amanda Nula."
"Sawutdeeka, Amanda this is the Bangkok Police Department. There has been a shooting at the Diamonds of the new Century, and 5 people lost their lives. One of the men was Tommy Nula." A/N- no one knows who the shooter is.
Amanda drops the telephone and fainted. After the death of her husband, Amanda decided to shut down the company, but the building was still standing and she didn't sold it to anyone. Amanda was too painful to live in Thailand that she decides to moves to America and raise her daughter's there, instead of Thailand. Amanda hope that one days her two daughters will come back to run it.

Summer of 2002, Sac, Cali

"Lynda, Theep are you ready? Hurry up! You're going to miss the flight." Amanda said. While Amanda was packing some food for the trip, someone was at the door. Amanda went to go open it, it was Tracey La Sengyavong. "Hi Aunt Amanda. Are they ready?" La said.
"They're upstairs, why don't you go check on them." Amanda said closing the door.
"No need too mom, we're coming." Lynda said as she walks down the stair with suitcase in both hands. They all went inside the car and drove to the airport.

At the Sacramento, California International Airport, La and Lynda's families were there to say their goodbyes.

In Bangkok, Thailand

"Ooh GOD, this is fucken hot out here! I don't get how they can stand the heat." La said holding her flat purse, swinging it up and down trying to cool her face.
"So where's your mom's old house, Theep and Lynda?" La asked.
"I don't know, my mom gave me the address. But I don't know where it is." Theep answer back.
"Lynda, Lynda Helllllllooooo Lynda?" Theep said waving her hand across Lynda's face.
"Yea, Yea, what?" said Lynda, she finally realized someone was calling her. "What are you looking at?"
"Just looking around." Lynda replied back."
" Okay, can you go asked people for the directions?" Theep ask her
"Yeah." As Lynda walk around the street back and forth asking for directions, La and Theep were in a restaurant getting something to drink.
"Sorry to bother you, but do you know the direction for this address?"
The women look up and down, giving Lynda a dirty look and then said,
"Noou, you should be careful out here. There are a lot of missing young women your age." The women said.
"Ooh, Ookay. Thanks." Lynda turns around and started walking away. "NOT." Lynda whisper.
"So Lynda, where is it?" Theep asked.
"I don't know, I ask this lady and she just look at me, and she said you gotta be careful, or you'll be missing. Stupid huh? I think she said that because the way I dress." Lynda said.
"Ookay." Next, Theep decided to go asked other people. Five minute later, Theep came back flashing a piece. "I got it. Lets go." Theep said.

- 30 mins later

"WOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW, so this is your parents old house, huh?" La said with her month open.
"I guess, mom did said that the house was big." Lynda reply. The girls step out of the Car and start walking in side.
"WOW, look at this place. It's soooooooooooo nice. But dirty." Theep said walking around, covering her mouth with a tissue.
"What do you expects Theep? No one has been here for over 23 years. So Let's start cleaning." Lynda said.

- 2 hours later, the house was clean.

When the girls were done with the cleaning, they went upstairs to take a nice cold shower. It was about nighttime. A couple of hours later they were done with the showering, and eating, they were all downstairs in the living room resting on the couch flipping through the channels. As Lynda was flipping through, she stops at the news. Hey listen to this, " We are here today at the Rave. (A/N a rave is a club.) Just a few minutes ago there have been a shooting involving 7 men's. 6 of them die, and 1 is rush to the hospital, then lost his life. One witness said, early he have saw a group of men's talking to the 7 men's. One of the men looks like John Souvannaseng the owner of the company, Golden Star. Police is still going to interview John Souvannaseng to see if he was there and envisaged."
"Fuck, shit this is tight!" La said.
"Hey you know what? We better be careful for now on." Theep said.
" Ssssuuuuuuurrrrrrreeeee" Both La and Lynda replied, with a laugh

Louis Scott, son owner of Bangkok Police Department was driving his car around. He went past the girl's house, and saw the light on. Louis sitting in his car looking at the house and thinking,
" Why is the light on? Who will wanna be in there? It's so old but nice; No one live there for over 23 years, why now? Or maybe someone just move in. I guess the owner sell it because they're not there anymore. If they did, who will wanna buy it? Should I check it out? What should I do? What will my dad do? Hey, maybe it's a ghost? Ghost or not a ghost, I'm gonna find out." Louis came out of his car, holding a flashlight.

"Flip the channel Lynda, I wanna watch some scary movie." La said. "Okay, let me find some. Ooh, here's one." The living room was dark, and loud.
"Okay, now what's going on, why do I hear screaming?" Louis said, as he walking slowly toward the window.
"Ooh NoOOo, don't go there, he's gonna kill you." La said holding on to Lynda's arm. All of a sudden Louis tap on the window very loud. The girls jumped up and turn around and saw a man shadow by the window with his face lighted. Theep thought it was a ghost. The girls screamed loud as they could. Louis notice that people were in the house and left to the front door. The girls stop screaming, and Theep went to go get an umbrella. Louis was out side at the door ring the bell.
"Theep, what are you gonna do with that?" Lynda asks.
"I'm gonna knock his head off." Theep said shaking
"Okay go ahead, you're the boss." La said standing behind Lynda's back. "You better get the hell out of here, I got a big aSs umbrella, and I'm not afraid to used it." Theep said walking toward the door.
"On the count of 3 I will open the door" Theep said taking a deep breath "Okay, one, two, annnnnnddddddd thrrrrreeeeeeeeeee." Theep opens the door and closes her eyes and swings the umbrella smacking Louis. Louis didn't see it coming. He was on the ground after 5 hit. Lynda came out to see, and saw Louis lying on the ground fainted.
"Theep, Theep, you could open your eyes now!" Lynda said. Theep opens her eyes and saw Louis lying on the floor, she feels bad so she decide to take Louis inside. While they were inside cleaning up Louis face, La went through his wallets to see who he was and what he got. Lynda got wet towel and wipe his blood. Theep just sat there looking at Lynda.
"Hahahahaha Shit, look at this!" La holding Louis's police bage up. Theep was shock and slowly replied "Ooh Hell NoOOo, why me?" Theep start to whined. After Lynda squeezed water oh Louis's face, he finally comes to it, he looked at the girls one by one, didn't know what to say, finally Theep apologized.
" I am soooooooooooo sooorrrryyy, I didn't know you were a police officer" Louis rub his head and replied
"That's okay, it's my faults, I didn't know, so Ummmmm are you Tommy and Amanda Nula kids, or something like that?" asked Louis
"Yea, me and my sister Lynda sitting over there." Theep said, " Wait, you know our mom and dad?" Lynda asks, " Yea, everyone here in Thailand know them" Louis answers back. Louis heard lots of story about them from his dad, and has always wondered who killed Tommy Nula. He was determent to find out, and nothing's gonna stop him from finding the truth. Louis didn't want to leave yet, He wanted to ask more question, of why they are here, but he knows he's not gonna get the answer's yet. His mouth was shaking, wanting to ask, and then he just let it all out.
"Who killed your father?" Louis asked hoping to get an answer. Theep and Lynda didn't know what to say. Lynda looks at Louis in silence.

In a couple of months, Theep, Lynda, and La were able to start the company over that their parents shut down. There was a grand opening for the new company that the whole news crew came over. There were big party, and hundred of people employed. The King and Queen of Thailand was there, the owner of Bangkok Police Department was there. A man came up to La and said; "I remember Tommy and Amanda Nula like it was yesterday. I never forget his face when he dies. Now I get to see it all over again. HAHAHAH." And walked off
"What the hell is his problem?" LA said in her mind.
"So congratulation, you finally did what your parent wanted you to do." Louis and Lynda talking to each other.
"Yea, but I just wish my mom and dad was here to see it."
"Sorry. I did it again."
Louis and Lynda were starting to get to know each other.

Back at the house

"Gosh, today is a hard day. My feet fucken hurt, walking around saying hello to people I don't even know." La said, rubbing her feet as she watch the News.
"THEEP, LYNDA, come quick! We're on TV!" Theep and Lynda rush over to see.
"Congratulating Nula. I'm standing here at the New Diamond of the New Century grand opening. 23 years ago, Diamond of the New Century was shut down because of a terrible accident that cost the death of Tommy Nula the owner that started it all. Amanda Nula was frightened that she couldn't bear to run it alone. Now 23 years later, two of her twin daughters, Samantha and Melynda Nula along with their niece Tracey La Sengyavong came back to their parents home country and start where their father left off. This is Samantha Nula standing here beside me. Hi Ms. Nula?"
" Hi."
"How long do you think you and your sister and cousin can run this business?"
"Ummmmm, I don't know. But we're going to try, we are going to make our father and mother proud. This is their dream, and they have to shut it down because of a jealous person. I will not let that happen."
" Are you afraid that someone will try to do the same thing to you like your father?"
"No I'm not! I'm not scared. I have the ability to protect myself and my sister and cousin. My mother sends us here because she wants us to start over, and find out who did this. I am not backing away from this. I will get to the bottom of this and make whoever killed my dad pay."
"Well thank you very much Ms. Nula for chatting with me."
"Thank You."
"This is Tina from channel 7 news. Back to you."

"OOH Shit this is Tight." La yelled.
"Hey look!" Theep pointing to the screen.
