Chapter 2


"Ooh look, Lynda and Louis talking. I wonder what are they talking about." La smiling at Lynda.
"Nothing, he just Congratulate us. That's all." Lynda said blushing.

Mean while back at Louis's house

Joni, Anan, Gompan, and Teya were at Louis's house to hang out and watch T.V.
"Hey Joni, flip to the news the T.V crew was there at the Diamond of the New Century grand opening." Louis said.
"Hey Look at that! What a hot chick!" Joni said.
"Where?" ask Anan.
"That chick right there. The two chicks behind Tina. The one wearing a baggily pants. I wonder how she look like."
"You didn't see her face yet. How do you know if she looks hot or not?" Anan said
"I know!" Joni replied, staring at the television. Louis was just sitting down, not paying any attention. The Hot chick turn around, and it turn out to be Louis. Everyone started laughing including Louis.
"Louis is your hot chick Joni?" Anan ask still laughing holding his stomach.
"Don't you feel stupid Joni?" Gompan ask laughing.
Joni couldn't stop laughing, but he feels so stupid.

"Come on Lynda, La! We're gonna be late for work." Theep shouted.
They drove to the building; when they arrived at the building everyone went to their own office and start working. In the afternoon, a men walk in to the building. He dresses like a nice man, holding a case.
He walks up to the women who work at the front desk.
"Hi, I want to speak to one of the owner." The man said.
"I'm sorry, who are you? do you have a good reason to see the owner?" The lady asks.
The man opens his wallet, and shows the lady his picture ID, it said Adam Copeland.
"I have a appointment with one of the owner, Samantha Nula today. I am here to sign a contract." The man said.
"Sorry sir, Ms. Nula didn't say anything about contract signing with anyone. Also she didn't mention you to me."
"Maybe she has forgotten."
The lady believes the man's every words, she took him to Theep's office. Theep was still working at her desk when she heard a knock.
"Who is it?"
"It's me Ms.Nula, may I come in?"
"Yes."
The lady enters the door.
"What can I do for you? I thought I told you to not bother me."
"Sorry Ms.Nula, there's a man here who said he have an appointment with you. He said that he's here to sign a contract."
"What contract?"
"I don't know."
"Is he here?"
"Yes, he's waiting out side. Do I let him in?"
"Yes, and you may go. Thank You."
The man enters the office, and was standing inside looking at Theep.
"Please sit down."
"May I help you sir?"
"Yes, I am here to sign a contract."
"What contract? Sorry sir but I never see u in my life and I don't remember saying anything about signing a contract."
"Yes you did. I have proofs." The man reach his case and take out a piece of paper. He didn't bother to close it back. He handed Theep the paper.
"What is this? Is this a sick joke? There's nothing on this paper. Get out of here NOW!" Theep yelled. Theep got out of the chair; stand up point to the door, to show him the way out.
The man got out of the chair and said, "Alright." All of the sudden he took out a gun and pointed at Theep. Theep was scared, and didn't dare to move. He shot her. The gun didn't make any sounds, so no one heard. (A/N- he didn't shoot Theep hard that she die, he just made sure she was hurt for some reason.) He walked out of the office, smile and shut the door.

A couple of minute pass, and it was time for lunch. Lynda and La came to the office, and knock. No answer, they knock again, still no answer. They open the door, and went inside. La went inside first and saw Theep's body lying in blood. They start screaming.
"Help, Help, somebody come here. Call 911." Lynda yelled. Lynda and La started to cry. Theep was taken to the Hospital. Polices was around Theep's office taking pictures, and interviewing the lady. At the Hospital, everyone was there. Louis, Lynda, La, and other important people was there waiting to hear from the doctor.
"God, what the fuck. What's taking them so long?" La said.
"Who the fuck did this? And why?" Lynda said angrily.
La was walking back and fourth.
5 hours later, the doctor came out. Everyone stand up and went up to them.
"How is she?" Lynda asks.
"Right now, she's okay. She lost alot of blood, she is resting, the bullet hit her at a weak place in her body. When she wakes up, she won't have the ability to do much, you guys will have to help her, don't let her think to much. Don't let her eat things that will affect her body. Let her eat lots of fruit, and she'll be okay." Said the Doctor
"Can we go see her?"
"Yes you may, but please don't stay to long, she needs lots of sleep." The doctor said.
They all went inside.

At Louis's house

At Louis's house, Louis and his dad were sitting drinking. It was silent, Louis keep on looking at his father's face.
"What Louis, what is it you wanted to ask me?"
"Who do you think did it dad?" Louis asks his father.
"Right now I really don't know." His father said, as he sighed.
"I don't want to point finger at anyone yet, not until I know for sure."
"But do you think it's the same person that killed their father?"
"That's what I'm afraid of, I'm scared that he is going to killed them all." He said as he rubbed his hand on his face.
"Dad, why are you so worried about them? Do you have any connection between them?"
"Louis, since you're an officer and my son, I'm going to tell you something. Tommy and Amanda weren't just my best friends, but were like brother and sister to me. They were the ones that helped me started police department. When Tommy got shot and die, I wanted to help and find out who did it. But Amanda wouldn't let me; she wanted to let it go. I felt like I betray Tommy. When Amanda was about to leave to America, she called me up one day and told me that someday, her twin daughters are gonna come back and continue to run the business that Tommy left. She also asks me to help protect Samantha and Melynda, I promise her that nothing will happen to them while they are here, and I will keep my promise, and I also don't want to called Amanda up one day and tell her that her daughters are dead, it will break her heart. I let Tommy die and did nothing about it, now I will protect their daughters and niece with my life, I love them like my own daughters and I will make sure that they are alive as long as I live."
"I'm sorry dad."
"That's okay son"
"Okay dad, can you say it again? Say what you just told me. I need to get a pen and notebook"
"Hahahahaha, what are you doing Louis? Are you interviewing me?"
"Yea dads, if you want to be a good officers you need to jot down every words the victims says."
" You know who I think it is Louis?" Louis's father said, as he got out of the chair and went to get more coffees. " I think its John, John Souvannaseng. He and Tommy were best of friends. John owns a business too; Golden Star his business is still running. His business is at the top right now. There are a lot of businesses that are out of business, when he opens it. When Tommy told John that he and his wife want to open a Diamond store, John wasn't happy about it. Tommy's business was faster then his. John's business was going slow, after Tommy open's his. He was one of the people that threaten them."
"Friends fighting are normal. I don't think John is that mad at Tommy that he will kill him."
"That's not all Louis. When there was a party for the business, the whole news crews were there; this lady was interviewing Tommy and Amanda, and all of a sudden, John came in. He punches Tommy and said, " Your business will die, just like you. The police had to drag him out of the party, and one week after the party, Tommy was shot to death. It was over the news, and when Tommy die, everybody think its John, but no one dare to talk."
"Then maybe he's our guy dad."
"Yea maybe, but the important thing to do right now, is to protect the three girls. It's your job to find someone that can look after them 24/7."
"And I'll do some research on this guy."
" Got it dad" Louis replied with a smile

"Okay, Gompan, Joni, do you think you guys can handle protecting the girls 24/7?" Louis asked.
"Ooh yea, I'll be looking forward to it, we will be together all the time, that everywhere we go, people will think we're going out." Joni said laughing.
"Wait, how much are you paying us? You know I have better things to do. Like finding a real jobs that actually pays, for my college." Gompan said.
"Okay, Okay we'll pay you. happy?"
" Yup" Gompan smile
Joni ask, "Okay, so who's looking after who? Am I looking after Samantha, Melynda, Or Tracey?"
"Well, Gompan; you take Tracey. Joni, you take Samantha, and I'll take Melynda."
The guys all agree, and left to the hospital, to see the girls.

*At the Hospital

Louis, Joni, and Gompan enter the door to Theep's room. Lynda and La look up and saw them, they hurry got out of the chair and went up to them. Joni look at Theep, who was still sleeping. He went up Theep, and whisper in her ears "I will protect you little one 24/7." La and Lynda looked at Joni and wonder what's going on. Joni pulled back and said, "How is she doing?"
"She's fine, she just needs lots of sleep. The doctor said that she will be out of the hospital in a couple of days." La reply.
"Ooh, so do I call her Samantha? Or do she have a play names that she goes by." Joni ask
"What's wrong with Samantha?"
"Nothing, it's just that I'm going to look after her, and Samantha seem like a long name."
"Her play name is Theep. What are you talking about? looking after her?" La said looking at Joni and Lynda hoping to get an answer. Lynda and La was confused. Joni back away and went over to Louis.
"You didn't tell them? I thought you did. Dude this is one job that I will not enjoy." Joni said whispering to Louis's ear. Louis whisper back
"I was just about to tell them, but you open your big mouth first. "
Lynda and La stared at Gompa. He knows what they're going to asks him. Before Lynda and La can asks him, he backs away and joined the conversations between Joni and Louis.
"Shit Louis, you better tell them now!" Gompan said. " Okay" Louis said, turning and facing La and Lynda
"Ummmmm Ladies, What Joni mean is that we are going to have to look after you guys."
"WHAT! What for? We can look after our self. We don't need some loser to protect us." La said yelling in a loud voice.
" WHAT? Who are you calling a Loser?" Gompan said.
"Ugh, do I have to point?" La talked back.
"If you think about calling me a loser? Well you can just forget, I am not a loser, I am a winner. You know, if I weren't Louis's BEST FRIENDS (Which I am), I wouldn't be doing this. You think I want to protect some girls with BIG bad attitudes? I only agree with Louis, because I need the money for college. Plus I hella hate hospital, they give me the goose bumps" Gompan said as he walks up to La's face."
"Well, you'll be living here forever, if you don't get your UGLY face away from mine." La said
Gompan was bout to say more, but Joni stopped him. Lynda face Louis and said- " Can you please explain to me why we need protection? Theep is the one that got hurt, not me or La". Louis walked closer to Lynda and slowly replied
"We believe that the reason why they wanna killed Samantha is because they want to shut down the business. They are gonna try to run you down, just like what they did to your father, and we know that they'll do anything to hurt you guys, so my dad said that we have to protect you guys, only until we catch who ever is behind this. We are thinking that it's the same person that killed Tommy. They want all of you dead. So to make sure that its doesn't happens, we need to protect you 24/7." Louis said. La knows what Lynda is gonna say. Lynda will have to agree with Louis, La didn't want her to, but she has no choice. La was getting mad. Louis look at La's face, his saw anger in her eyes. Tears dropping down her face. She didn't want to stand there looking like a fag crying. She wanted to get away from the guys, she ran as fast as she could out of the door.
"Hahahahaha, what a LOSER." Gompan said, right after La exit the door.
Louis looks at Gompa face, giving him signs that he should go after her.
"What! Why are you looking at me like that?" Gompa said.
" You're supposed to go after her. What if something happed? It's going to be your fault."
"I don't care, I don't want to protect someone that calls me a LOSER. She said it her self, she don't need one. Remember?"
" Listen, go after her or else you're not gonna get pay. GOT IT" Louis said trying not to yell and wake up Theep."
"Fine! I'll go."
As Gompan was walking out of the door, Lynda looked at Louis shaking her head.
"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, Lynda?"
"Yea?"
"I'm going to protect you."
"Ooh, Okay." Lynda said in a sweet calm voice. "Ooh great. Now some loser will be following me around where ever I go. I know how La feels." Lynda said in her minds, as she smiles at Louis. In Lynda's mind, she doesn't want any protection too, but before she came, Amanda, her mother told her never to disobey Louis's father, same things goes for Theep and La.

One week later

Theep got out of the hospital and heard the news. She wasn't that happy about it. Theep return to work, although she was still in a little pain. A/N- someone gonna run the business, because Lynda and La don't really care about it.

At work

A man came in employing for the jobs. He was a tall good-looking guy, he have black hair with strip of reddish blond. Theep took him in as her secretary. La heard what happen and went totally crazy.
"A guy secretary? Who ever heard of that?" La said as she bang her hand on Theep's desk making loud noise.
"What do you want me to do? He's really smart, and I wouldn't hared him if he weren't."
"Well get someone else that is Stupid." Yelled La
"What's wrong with him?"
"Well let me tell you. He's a guy, and when you two are alone and he feel you know, Horney he can get you easy."
"That's enough La."
Theep was getting a headache, so she end her conversation with La saying " Listen little cuz, I'm the owner of this company and I can hire anyone I want. GOT IT? NOW GET BACK TO WORK" Yelled Theep, La know better then to argue with her cuz, so she replied with a silent nod " Yea whatever" and walked out the room. A couple hours past and Joni cane rushing into Theep's office.
"Don't you knock?"
"No, what's up with the guy thing?"
"WWWwhat? Ooh the guy that I hiring. La must have told you."
"Tell me the truths, what's the real reason why you hire him?"
"Nothing, just that someone can take care of me in my office." Theep said as she was trying to get back to work.
"I'm here, you are not going to need him at all I promise you."
"Sure, whatever."
About 29 minute past in silent. Joni was just sitting down on the couch watching Theep's every move. Theep got out of her chair, and Joni got up very fast.
"Where are you going?"
"To get some coffee. Is there a problem?"
"Yea, you don't need to get it yourself now. You have a secretary; he can get it for you. That's what you paid him for. DUDE SECRETARY, I ORDER YOU TO COME IN HERE NOW!"
Dunk enters the door standing looking at Joni.
"What? You never had seen a handsome guy before?" Joni said making faced at Dunk.
"What can I do for you Ms.Nula?"
"Ummmmm, I was about to go get it myself, but then he called you in here so I'll just order it from you. I want some coffee with two sugars." Theep said.
Dunk was about to leave then Joni stop him.
"Dude wait, I want one too. Make it the same as hers. It better be good."
After Dunk left, Theep faced Joni.
"Don't you have anything better to do in life then just order people around?"
"Yeah, I'm getting pay very very good just for watching you."
" PIG" Theep said look at Joni
"Good looking PIG" replied Joni laughing.
