Chapter 1

Life wasnt always easy for the rich and famous...but as a child i learned how
to cope with it every step of the way.I was taught how to eat properly and
even how to walk properly,sit up straight and dont slouch when you walk.Same
thing over and over...but how can i not be like that i'm a princess right...?
A princess from Burma.

10 Years Passed By... "heeeeeeeeeey prissanna howz it going?" My friend
yelled from across the dining room we had a long one the kind of dining rooms
where you had to yell across to talk to the other person sitting across,like
ten yards apart. I walked up the stairs slowly because of the dress that was
neatly pressed againts my thighs.It was a long dress with a clear pastel pink
shawl over my shoulders and a cream tank inside.My hair was up and with a bun
,with all sorts of pins and barettes in it. "hey there nuch what brings you
here?" i hugged her tightly and smiled ,she smiled back and returned the hug
as if we havent seen each other in decades. "ohhh girl i've been in Paris
with my family for a couple of months after we graduated from the
university,and i've come today is because ...well I have some news to tell
you." she looked away her eyes moistening and she trembled a little. She
tried to hide the sad emotion from me but i could tell,because since
childhood she couldnt conceal it well. "whats wrong? Tell me ...who did this
to you?" i walked the other way to face her she was crying . "okay thats it
your telling me whats happening cuz you got me all worried up now." She sat
down and looked at me with her tears and mascara smeared, it took her a few
seconds to answer. "my brother...he's..." She starts to sob heavily. "He did
what?" I shook her shoulder demanding an answer. "ohhh god he's going to
marry this good for nothing girl and he knows too that i'm mortal enemies
with her." She yelled ,falling to the floor, "hey calm down nuch its not the
end of the world okay...umm tell me who is this girl?" She got up , "she went
to Paris the same month and it seemed as if fate brought them together...or
we can say hell ,she's sooo rude her name is bua, and she went to the same
university as us remember?" I couldnt remember who this girl was but I did
wanted to know. "Okay remember the last dance we went to and she was the one
that stole your date straigth face and everything." I started to remember bua
and what she did that night of prom how she stole my date ,the date my
parents actually approved of. "ohhhh that girl what a little..." The servant
looked at me with a disaproving face as if he knew what i was going to say. I
stopped and covered my mouth and nodded to her. "you over there I and my
friend are going outside okay,ohh and dont follow!" I gave him a sharped look
and walked outside to the garden with nuch.

Chapter 2

She told me her story and asked what i thought she should do all
i answered her was i didnt know and it was none of my bussiness.I sat on my
bed worried about the whole situation, I turned to my powder table and took
my familys picture into my hands,sighing. The door opened and my mother
stepped in. "Are you okay you didnt say much during dinner...is there
something you need to tell me?" She looked at me and sat down beside me
rubbing my hair. "Ohh its nothing really its just that nuch has a problem and
I'm going to help her." Ilooked at her and put my head on her shoulder, "ohh
yes i have a little suprise for you Priss." She got up and walked towards the
door. "Just get some sleep and you'll know what it is tomorrow morning, just
remember to dress nicely okay?" She smiled and left. I sat there confused,I
wondered what was the suprise and why did i have to dress nicely?

Next Morning... I dressed quickly and went to the garden.I walked around and
sat down at out fountain,it was so peaceful and beautiful. I went to pick an
orchid with dews still dropping from the sides of the stem. I lift it to my
nose and sniffed it ,I smiled to myself. Suddenly a hand grabbed my waist,
startled I swung my arm around to hit the guy but he ducked and caught my
fall and we both landed to the ground. "Let me go idiot who do you think you
are huh,do you know who i am?" I struggled trying to loosen his hug but I
couldnt. He laughs playfully, I turned to look at him clearly and met with
his eyes. I was shocked to see who it was and how he even got here but my
heart was beating fast,and I was feeling the heat between us. "Hey babe still
fiesty as usual huh?" I pushed him and he landed on his back, I dusted
myself off and walked to help him up. "Sorry p'joni,I didnt mean to but you
have to admitt you did scare me and dont do it again you hear." I pinched his
shoulder ,"oye ...oye,okay ,okay I wont priss I wont ,dont be mad okay?" He
smiled and held his pinky up. "C'mon lets make up khon dhee yaah grot chun
lere krup." I smiled and ran to the dining room,he chased after me and it
seemd as if we were back 10 years ago when he was still little and pulling my
pigtails. "Priss come back we're not little kids anymore,stop already." I ran
to the other side of the table and stood there. :"You cant catch me dork
hahaha!" I felt so immature but happy, he ran fast to catch me on the other
side. He took my hand and placed it on his chest,I looked at him confused .
I squinted , "Umm okay whats this for huh.?" He moved closer to my face and
held his gaze on my eyes,his lips moved closer to mine and i didnt move away.
"This is my hear and its for yours to keep only." he answered ,I started to
laugh lightly. "Ohhh gosh p'joni your that was sooo corny." He lifted my chin
and i knew his intention. As he was about to kiss me my mother came in right
on us.I turned to look at her embarassed,we stepped away from eachother. Joni
scratched his head nervously and went to my mother to greet her. He gave her
a hug and a small kiss on the cheek. "Sawaddee krup , are you doing okay ?"
He asked her politely with one hand behide his back which made me laugh at.

During dinner... The place was decorated nicley with wild orchids and purple
satins drapping down the sides of the poles in our dinning room, vases were
filled with pink and red roses we plant in our garden. "So Priss whats your
gardens name again?" joni asked me as he put a piece of sticky rice in his
mouth, "Its called the garden of angels, you like the name or what I made it
up." He grined ,"of course I like it the name has an angel and its made up by
and angel right?" I started to blush and looked down at my plate, my mom
broke his stare at my face by coughing slightly. "So kids what do you plan to
be doing tomorrow?" She looked at both of us sipping her wine afterwards.
"Well I was thinking we can head to the beach and walk around the little
stands that they sell food and clothes at." I looked at joni for an approvel
of the idea I gave out ,but all he did was eat . I slapped him at the side of
his leg ,starled he answered me. "Well... sure whatever you want is fine
with me Priss but..." he trailed off. "But what?" I asked annoyed, "Well I
was looking forward to spending some quality time alone with you not with the
public!" He looked at my mom then me,she smiled and gave me a disagreeing
look that me and joni shouldnt be together ...alone. "I dont think so joni I
mean that is a great idea but still I dont want to..." " You dont want to
what?" He asked . "Well I dont want to be so close to you...and I dont think
its a good idea to talk about this in front of my mother okay!!" I got up and
curtsied, "May I be excused please ?" I looked at my mom and then joni
angrily. "Sure thing hun go on and get some air." "Thanks you." I walked out
my skirt shifted softly on the floor making a rustling sound. This signaled
joni to follow me but my mom stopped him and he sat back down.

I walked outside and sat down at the fountain,looking up at the stars
wondering what other people were doing and how their lives are different from
mine, because I get so tired of being what I am. I have a certain duty to
fulfill but at the same time I want to do what my heart tells me to do...is
that I dont love joni one bit.

Chapter 3

every meaning of Mints song,it was the song on the number one chart of
bangkok and it was a pretty song. Hugo was turning 19 in a few weeks and was
about to be getting engaged to a girl who he didnt know or love at all. He
heared from his parents that she's gorgeous and graduated from Michigan and
was a current model there. But he didnt care because at the time right now
his heart belongs to noboy but that girl he saw in the magazine a couple of
months ago. You can say it was love at first sight to him,as soon as he had a
glimpse of that face,that angelic gentle sweet face he had fallen in love
with her.His friends makes fun of him telling him he's daydreaming like a
girl does about a movie star or singer,but it didnt get to him he listens to
no one but his heart.

"Hugo are you in there? its time to go down stairs and eat dork!!" His sister
woranuch came running upstairs loudly banging on the door and yelling. Hugo
snaped out of his dram and pops up from the bed and yelled back. "Alright
already jeeez ohh is bua here yet?" He asked nuch annoyingly. Nuch rolled
her eyes and sighed she crossed her arms and started to whine like a little
girl. "Damn p'hugo stop asking about her i'm still upset about it alright!"
She ran downstairs pissed off. Mumbling to herself she bumped into bua,who
was dressed in a black pant suit with sunglasses on top of her head looking
like a IMAGE magazine model. She looked at nuch from head to toe grinning she
gave a kiss on her cheek and ran upstairs, heading for Hugos room. She stood
in front of his room and opened the door,Hugo was alarmed to see bua seeing
him half naked. "Ohhhh bua hey can you please go out first i'm kinda half
naked here and it wouldnt look right since your a girl and i'm..." Before he
could finish his sentence bua came to him and placed her sunglasses down on
the bed and kissed Hugo on the lips. His eyes grew wide but he was enjoying
it well sort of. "Umm what are you doing?" He asked her pushing her away,
"Doing what I shouldve done a long time ago in Paris Hugo ...let me be your
first in everything please?" She hugs him and nuzzles his neck. " Okay I
think your confused I'm not like that maybe after we get married and all but
noway not now!" He pushed her hard and ran out the door leaving her
embarassed. He ran into nuch who was confused and got into his car and drove
away. "Hey watch it p'hugo where is he going?" She tipoes to see his car
drove out of sight. "Well anywayz I'm going now tell your mom and dad i said
bye and i'll return tomorrow." Bua steps in front of nuch and smiled evily,
"You know what I dont think anybody enjoys your company here,and better yet
dont return cuz p'hugo has found somebody else that he likes and this time
he's not blind!" Nuch giggled and walked inside the house humming to herself.
"Whatever little girl you'll see that i'm in the big league and your still in
little league i'm in homebase and your still at one." She grinned and drives
away in her porch.

Back at Burma

The phone in my room ringed at 7:00 am in the morning,I picked it up and
answered with a hoarsed voice. "Hello who is this do you know what time it
is?" I asked angrily. "Hey Priss guess what?" I reconized the voice it was
Nuch and she sounded happy, "Hey girl what do you want calling me at 7 in the
morning it better be important." I got up and went out to the balcony, "Well
dont get mad yet jeez it is important and very great to hear , so listen up
and be happy for me okay?" I smiled as I looked out to the scenery I can see
the servants running around. "Okay well my brother he's not getting with bua
anymore isnt that great?" I was confused of how can this brother of hers get
over bua that easily ."Umm okay let me get this straight how did your brother
get over her anyways?" "Well it was something like my parents want him to get
engaged with bua at first but he didnt like her he pretended to in front of
my parents to make them satisfied but one day he got soo annoyed that he just
snapped ." She said quickly taking a moment to breathe, "I see now thats
great to hear...sooo hey what does your brother look like anyway I havent
seen him since forever." She gigled , "Well yeah he looks okay I guess I mean
he is my brother and I dont check out my bro soo yeah." I started to laugh.
"Why your interested in him? if you are then that be great!" "How would that
be great huh that be weird." I made a disgusted face, "Well your my best
homegirl and it be soo kool if you two get together!" I sighed and looked at
the mirror, "I dont think so he'll be like a bro to me too and besides I dont
want to sound soo high and mighty but I am well you know...a princess." We
both sighed at the same time. "Iknow but hey i think you got it good princess
gig and your mom likes me and she wouldnt have a problem right?" "True but
still she would i know her nuch,she wants me to get..." I driftted off ,
"wants you to what?" She asked, "ohh nevermind look I gotta get going okay
talk to you laterz?" "Okay sweetie laterz!" "Latez." I hung up and got
dressed, I put on a happy face and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I saw
joni sitting there by himself he came to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I nuged him away, "Joni please dont do that someone might see okay?" I sat
down he came over and hugged me, "Ohh who cares we're engaged right?" He
smiled ,"No we're not ,not yet of course." "Why do you have to get soo mad
huh prissanna whats the difference?" He asked . "I care okay and I would
really appreciate it if you wouldnt be soo touchy!!" I yelled back and the
next thing I know we were heading for a fight. "Alright I see how it is miss
priss too good for me now huh or is it you found someone else huh?" He
grabbed my arm hard and it started to turn red. "Let go joni your hurting me,
stop it please!" I tried to loosen his grip but it was too tight , I would
kick him but I couldnt . :"Tell me didnt you?" His face got red and he got
more violent. "Damn it joni stop your scaring the hell out of me ,if you dont
let go this instance I will call my mom right now so she could see the guy
she wants me to marry is some violent bastard!!!!!!!!!!!" He lets go and took
a step back to look at me, i've never showed my angry side to nobody but my
servants and I knew he was astonished . "I'm sorry I didnt mean to really I
didnt." He was begging for forgiveness but I knew he was going to go balistic
again . I steped upfront to his face, "I'm warning you joni anwar if you ever
do that again, i swear to the lords of Burma the engagenment is off!!" I ran
away as fast as I could I didnt look back once at all to see if he was going
to follow me. I just kept telling myself that I had to get out of this mess
somehow and soon and nobody can know where I plan to runaway...
